Play Scheme
Cox Green Community Centre has been running a Play Scheme for over 25 years. It is available to children aged 5-11 years, and runs during spring and summer holidays. The scheme is restricted to 100 children per session and therefore holds a registration evening and operates on a first come first served basis. There are many activities each day which could include arts and crafts, cooking, quad bikes, bouncy castle, interactive zoo, wild life talks, movies, play stations, football and judo coaching, local fire services etc and much more.
Information such as the availability of forms, the registration evening and the days the scheme runs are advertised in the Community News, local papers and on the web site.
The Community Centre has facilities for the disabled.
The Victory Hall and Pastoral Room have an audio and loop system for hearing aid users.
